Winsor Newton Artist Watercolors
William Winsor and Henry Newton introduced the first moist watercolor in 1832. Since then, Winsor & Newton watercolors have become one of the most frequently chosen watercolors by artists around the world. The Artists' Watercolor range offers a wide, balanced spectrum of 91 colors with each color being specifically selected to offer the greatest choice to suite all artists. Each color within the range has an individual formulation of high performance pigments ensuring excellent strength, brilliance of color and color stability. Single pigment formulations have been used where possible to ensure cleaner, brighter mixes. Permanent alternatives have been developed for the less durable traditional colors, without compromising handling properties. As a result, 88 of the 91 colors are now classified as permanent. |
